TYPO3 Traditional Templating

Since its existence, TYPO3 uses a templating method based on subparts and markers. You'll recognize these markers immediately, as they start and end with ###, like ###MARKER###. And a subpart is a section enclosed by two markers with the same name. Both markers as subparts will be replaced with content by TYPO3, with the use of typoscript.

As mentioned in the introduction, the TYPO3Buddy website does not have a traditional templating tutorial to rebuild the TYPO3Buddy website with markers and subparts. We will include it on our website in time though, because it's the most stable templating method in TYPO3 up to now (i.e. ALL versions of TYPO3 have supported it, and will support it).

The TYPO3Buddy website is a tutorial to rebuild the TYPO3Buddy website from scratch. You can choose from a TYPO3 Fluid tutorial and a TYPO3 Templavoila tutorial. You'll build TYPO3 websites like you've done so for years!
